Louis Vuitton twist bag (Capsule collection): How I wore it

Louis Vuitton twist bag (Capsule collection): How I wore it

What are your key wardrobe pieces? A good pair of jeans? Loud prints? Or maybe you’re more of a shoe gal?

If I were to pick one, I’d choose handbags. Who’s with me?! 😀

My first designer purchase was a Louis Vuitton. It brings back such great memories and it was the beginning of my love affair for designer pieces!

Although famous for its LV monogram, I personally preferred the classic pieces. The Epi leather was my favourite because of the outer texture. It might not be scratch-proof, but the leather is more durable and easier to handle.

Ever since the launch of Louis Vuitton’s Twist bag, we’ve seen plenty of designs throughout each season. The capsule collection following the Cruise ’17 show was definitely a standout. Inspired by the Cruise ’17 Rio de Janeiro show, this collection brought major spring vibes! Of course, staying true to my preference towards classic pieces, I went for the most basic piece from this collection.

In classic black Epi leather with gold hardware, this Louis Vuitton Twist is truly a piece I can dress up or down with. The classic monogram flowers with studs made this bag a true statement piece.

I paired this with a black crop top from Bardot and shorts from Sandro. To avoid having too much dark coloured pieces, I complemented this look with a crisp white vest from Elie Tahari. I would also pair the Louis Vuitton Twist bag with a white t-shirt and denim bottoms to give it a casual day look.
